One of the more… interesting days we’ve ever had at the sites… long story short, a grenade was found in a police seized vehicle and a 5 mile exclusion zone was put in place at the sites due to the nature of an explosive device being found. The grenade was placed into a controlled explosion situation by the ministry of defence’s disposal squad and although the sites were closed for some time, no-one was hurt and the situation was resolved. We would like to place our sincere thanks to the emergency services and dispoal squad for their prompt, efficient and safe handling of the situation.
